Simple Brick Slip Maintenance Guide

brick slip maintenance

Whilst brick slip maintenance isn’t really a necessity, a little bit of TLC never hurt anyone! So here are a few things you could use to keep your slips looking fresh.

As we stated in our blog on interior brick slips, brick slips require minimal aftercare. Immediately after installation, it is highly likely that you will have mortar residue and dust on your slips. This is a quick and simple fix. Simply take your wire brush and sweep away the unwanted dust.

So once that’s done, the next step of brick slip maintenance would be to seal your brick tiles. This can be done using our brick slip seal and protect. Once the brick tiles have dried, and the mortar residue has been brushed, apply the seal. Only one coat is required, if a second coat is desired it must be done whilst the product is still wet.

As we have already established there isn’t really much to brick slip maintenance. An occasional dust down here and there should suffice. If you find they are requiring constant attention they were, most likely, installed incorrectly. In this case, contact a professional ASAP and allow them to help you.

We want to thank you for choosing Slips From Stock as your brick slip supplier! So once your slips have been installed post them on interior brick slips or Instagram and we’ll send you an Amazon voucher
