Answering YOUR questions about brick slips

Brick slip question answers

Brick slips are a particularly niche topic and as such we understand it can be hard to find the answers your looking for online. Therefore we have compiled a selection of the questions we receive the most and put them all in one place!

What are brick slips?

Brick slips are specially manufactured tiles. They have the appearance and texture of a real brick wall when installed. They are also referred to by other names such as faux brick tiles, brick veneers and brick tiles.

Can I install brick slips myself?

Most definitely! Brick slips are relatively straightforward to install and with the help of our installation guide we are confident you’ll get through it in no time.

Whilst they are technically NOT waterproof, it is highly unlikely that water will damage your brick slips significantly. We recommend that you seal your brick slips after installation to just be certain your slips last as long as possible.

How long do brick slips last?

As long as you ensure you have correctly prepared your wall and installed them correctly, forever! We use real bricks for our brick slips meaning they share the same properties meaning they will last as long as you need them to.

Will brick slips last as long if they are used outside?

They will just as long on exterior projects as they do with interior projects. However, it is important to install and seal your slips correctly to achieve long lasting results!

Do brick slips require any aftercare?

No! Our brick slips have all the properties or REAL clay bricks. So other than the occasional dust off your slips will just look after themselves.
